The "Dry Clean Only" Myth
Many manufacturers slap "Dry Clean Only" on labels to protect themselves from liability, even if the item could be hand-washed. However, structured items like blazers, or fabrics like rayon and silk, truly benefit from professional cleaning to maintain their shape and texture.
Temperature Matters
The dots inside the wash tub symbol indicate temperature. One dot is cold (30°C), two is warm (40°C), and three is hot (60°C). As a general rule, wash in the coolest water possible to save energy and preserve fabric color.
